Piraeus – Athens Airport in 1 hour! Premiere on Thursday – See the itineraries
The routes Piraeus – Airport and vice versa start on Thursday, February 1st. The new route lasts 1 hour and 03 minutes.
According to TRAINOSE SA, which directly connects the largest port in the country with the Athens International Airport, the new route lasts 1 hour and 03 minutes. In the Airport-Piraeus section, the itineraries will be carried out every hour. The cost of the ticket does not change, while at the same time the passenger public does not need to transfer to Athens.
New itineraries Ano Liosia-Airport
In addition, one Piraeus train per hour is launched on the route Airport – SKA. (soon Ano Liossia), as well as eight new itineraries -in one direction- in the section SKA. – Koropi.
In particular, TRAINOSE strengthens the line between SKA. (soon Ano Liosia) – Koropi and vice versa for the best service of the employees, who move by the trains of the Suburban Railway, with additional four (4) morning itineraries and four afternoon, the working days and peak hours.
Specifically, the additional itineraries will depart as follows:
From the SKA Station with destination Koropi at: 06: 04 *, 07:02, 08:02, 09:02, 15: 04 *, 16:02, 17:02 and 18:02.
It is noted that the first morning service at 06:04 and the first afternoon service at 15:04, departs from Metamorfosi Station (soon Ano Liosia, after the completion of the works by OSE).
From Koropi Station to SKA at: 06:29, 07:29, 08:29, 09: 29 *, 15:29, 16:29, 17:29 and 18: 29 *.
It is noted that the last morning service at 09:29 and the last afternoon service at 18:29, end at Metamorfosi Station at 09:51 and 18:51 respectively, instead of SKA (soon Ano Liosia, after the completion of the works by OSE) .
Piraeus – Kiato in 1 hour and 38 minutes
With the implementation of the new itineraries, passengers will be able to go directly from Piraeus to Kiato – and vice versa – in 1 hour and 38 minutes with a frequency of itineraries per hour. Also, from Kiato, with transfer to TRAINOSE buses, passengers have access to Patras.
For passengers, who travel between Kiato station and the Athens Airport, there is a transfer (without waiting) to Kato Acharnai station, with provision for transfer to Ano Liosia station, after the completion of the works by OSE.
