Dubai Aviation City Corporation (DACC) has today invited contractors to submit tenders for the third phase of expansion of the Dubai International Airport.

According to adverts placed in local newspapers, the DACC is inviting prequalification submissions for the superstructure, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), SAS, finishes and site works for the Terminal 2 expansion at the Dubai Airport.

The project is a multi-phased addition and refurbishment of the existing terminal 2 facility at Dubai International Airport, and includes the addition of a new departures and check-in hall, as well as refurbishment of the existing lounges, baggage and arrival halls.

Closing date for submissions is noon, June 23, 2011.
