The ‘Gargano Easy to Reach’ tourist transport service, run by the Aeroporti di Puglia (AdP) company, which controls Bari-Palese ‘Karol Wojtyla’ airport, is back for the tenth consecutive year. This is a programme of road links connecting the airport with the Gargano area. The Apulia Region has allocated 300,000 Euro this year for the activation of the 2023 seasonal service.
“Together with AdP for the 2023 season we are also considering including a connection with the ‘Gino Lisa’, Foggia airport, thus the most attractive airport for those who want to visit the Gargano. With Gargano Easy to Reach, an effective form of air/air intermodality at the service of tourism and the promotion of the territory and tourism is realised,” explained the regional councillor for transport and sustainable mobility, Anita Maurodinoia.
Bari airport awarded the service by tender for the spring/autumn 2023 period. “Gargano Easy to Reach”, which carried 7790 passengers in 2021, has a twofold objective: to make the regional territory accessible and to promote the places of greatest tourist attraction.
